QI (Quality Inspector) garments industry-এর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ quality control position। একজন QI-এর প্রধান দায়িত্ব হলো production process-এর বিভিন্ন পর্যায়ে garments-এর quality buyer specification, approved sample, measurement specification এবং factory quality standard অনুযায়ী আছে কিনা তা পরীক্ষা করা।

- Production line-এ garments inspection করা
- Garment defects identify করা
- Major, Minor ও Critical defects আলাদা করা
- Measurement check করা
- Sewing quality check করা
- Workmanship verify করা
- Approved sample-এর সঙ্গে production compare করা
- Buyer specification follow হচ্ছে কিনা যাচাই করা
- Inline ও end-line inspection করা
- Defect report তৈরি করা
- Quality সমস্যা supervisor/QA team-কে জানানো
- Rework ও alteration follow-up করা

Inline Quality Inspection
Production চলাকালীন inspection করে defect early stage-এ identify করা QI-এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ দায়িত্ব।
এর ফলে বড় quantity production হওয়ার আগে quality problem detect এবং correction করা সম্ভব হয়।
End-Line Inspection
Sewing line থেকে garment বের হওয়ার পরে QI বা designated quality personnel garment check করতে পারে।
